 MATT ERPENBACH PROMOTED TO 2nd LIEUTENANT

In 2008, Matt received his commission as a 2nd Lieutenant when he was selected to be the Bioenvironmental Engineer (BEE) with 114th Medical Group in the South Dakota Air National Guard.  By using engineering science and problem solving skills, a BEE provides operational health risk expertise to enhance a commander’s decision-making and health service support capabilities.  BEEs have a significant role in casualty prevention and optimizing operational effectiveness whether in-garrison or at a deployed location.

DOUG PEDERSON RECOGNIZED

Doug was recognized as “patriotic employer” by the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.  Pederson was nominated by 2nd Lieutenant Matt Erpenbach, a structural engineer with RISE, for his flexibility and generosity towards Matt’s Guard duties which often take him away from the office.  “With no one to do my job really, it’s a sacrifice for him when I’m gone, but he’s just been nothing but great about me leaving,” Erpenbach said.  “He could easily have a different attitude.”

SONIA LINE NAMED NEW MARKETING DIRECTOR

Rise, Inc. is pleased to welcome Sonia Line as the new Marketing Director.  Sonia brings extensive marketing experience to the firm and will provide direction and support to business development, implement marketing plans, design corporate materials, along with coordinating the Forensic Engineering Division.
